I'm a big Adio The Decoy fan,
had a pair of 991 for 3 years and just decided to get a new
version, highly recommended.
I wear 'walking' shoes almost all the time: these are the most
comfortable walking shoes I have found since the classic New
Balance 843. Unlike the 843, the W992 has a stylish look and
color combinations. Okay, stylish if you are over 40 and want
to be comfortable and not look like you are wearing
'comfortable shoes.' I walked over two miles the first day I
wore them and experienced no foot pain or irritation. I wear a
custom made orthotic with the shoe, so I take out the New
Balance insole.
Wears this shoe: anytime
So far, this is the best shoe I have been able to find. I have
an extra wide foot, high arches, and plantar faciitis, The
decoy skate sneakers. This is the only shoe I have been able
to wear my orthotic inserts in, along with the shoes'
removable inserts, which ensures extra cushioning that I am
sorely in need of.
Wears this shoe: every day to work
I loved the feel of the shoe when I first wore them. Then
before my 9 hour shift was over (I wore 3 times before) my
right little toe blistered and has been irritated each time I
have worn the shoe since. I don't feel anything inside shoe.
For the price I would stick with the other Adio. |
